    Our favorite ski jacket this past winter. The Swelter rides cold chair lifts like a champ, keeps you warm while watching an alpine sunrise, and covers all the right places when the cold hits. Extra length in the torso keeps your butt warm sitting on a pack or riding a lift. Stretchy cuffs slide over gloves easily, and the helmet-compatible hood fits over both climbing and skiing helmets. And we think it’s pretty cool the Power Fill™ insulation is made with 80% post-consumer recycled content.

    Swel-ter (verb): to become exceedingly hot

    Sweltering isn't the most desirable of actions, but when you're freezing your butt off at 14,000 feet, being "exceedingly hot" sounds pretty darn nice. Throw the Swelter on over a few other layers and while you might not be a furnace, you'll definitely be comfortable.

    Swelter jacket

    I like this jacket alot. It is very warm at 26 degrees if active and the hood is on. Really like the way the sleeves fit at the wrists. I have not had layers on underneath just a t shirt and sweatshirt. I am sure It would be extremely warm at colder temperatures if wearing layers.The medium is a trim fit. The jacket is not very warm without the hood up until warmed up. I don’t know if it would be warm sitting at campsite in cold weather. I feel seepage of cold at the top and back of my shoulders. It would be nice to have extra insulation in this area.

    Fit

    You guys are amazing, the quality is top notch but the fit is a tad tight for those who are not super athletes.
